I lead based on experience.
And on my own, too.

I am Inge Kormelink. Dutch by origin, European by vocation, and Spanish by adoption. For more than 7 years at the helm of Grupo Tambre, one of the leading reproductive medicine clinics in Europe. But what defines me is not only that international leadership career built at companies such as Philips, Procter & Gamble and IVF Spain but something very few leaders in this field can bring: I myself have been through the fertility journey as a patient.
That personal experience is not a footnote in my biography. It is the core of my vision. Because leading Tambre is not, to me, about managing a healthcare business. It is about supporting people through one of the most profound moments of their lives, with the best available science and the greatest possible humanity.
I speak five languages. I have worked in four countries: Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain. I studied at Yale, Nyenrode and the Montpellier Business School. But no programme taught me as much as having sat on the other side of the consulting room.
Today I bring together three dimensions that rarely converge in a single profile: business vision, human leadership and personal experience. The result is solid clinical outcomes, high patient trust, and an internationally recognised culture and, above all, patients who trust us.
There is a kind of knowledge that cannot be gained in any MBA or boardroom. It is the kind learnt in a clinic waiting room, holding a result and a question that still has no answer.
I know that place. I went through the assisted reproduction journey as a patient before going on to lead the group of clinics from which I now support thousands of families. That experience did not stay locked away: I turned it into the engine of my leadership.

Leading Tambre knowing what it means to sit on the other side of the consulting room has given me something that cannot be delegated: genuine empathy with the process, the uncertainty, the hope. And that translates into decisions that prioritise patients’ emotional wellbeing with the same care as scientific protocols.
I do not speak about fertility from books. I have lived it. And that is the difference.
I did not come to the healthcare sector by chance. I came with decades of accumulated experience, an academic background that never stopped growing — from Rotterdam to Yale, via Montpellier, Barcelona and the Netherlands — and the conviction that healthcare organisations can and must be managed with the same strategic rigour as any world-class business, without losing a single gram of humanity in the process.
Since 2018 as CEO of Grupo Tambre, and previously as Head of Strategies at IVF Spain from 2012, I have built a leading European organisation in reproductive medicine. I lead with the same rigour with which I learn: with method, with data and with people always at the centre.
Leads the transformation of a pioneering clinic into an international reference in advanced reproductive medicine, driving its expansion, global positioning, and scientific excellence.

My philosophy is based on a clear premise: the best clinical outcomes stem from purpose-driven teams, protocols of excellence and a culture where the patient is always at the centre. Not as a slogan, but as the guiding principle behind every decision we make.
I believe in data-driven management and empathetic leadership. I believe that scientific innovation and a human touch are not opposites, but one and the same. And I believe that diversity—of cultures, languages and perspectives—is the greatest competitive advantage an international organisation can have.
To everyone who believes in science when it goes hand in hand with humanity.
To those who trust, hope, ask questions and never give up.
