Culture is not what we say. It’s what we do every day.

There is a phrase that I recently shared with our team that quite well summarises how I understand the culture of an organization: culture is not what we say. It’s what we do every day.

We can talk about values, purpose, empathy, or teamwork, but all of that only makes sense when it translates into concrete decisions and actions. And there is one that is especially important to me: if we want our patients to feel cared for, listened to, and accompanied, we also have to take care of the people who make that experience possible every day.

We work in a particularly sensitive field. The people who come to Tambre place their trust in us at a time in their lives filled with expectations, uncertainty, and emotions. That demands excellence and rigour from our professionals, but also empathy, closeness, listening skills, and a tremendous commitment.

As an organization, I believe we have the responsibility to live up to that commitment.

Taking care of our team means offering opportunities to learn and grow, facilitating work-life balance, and caring about their well-being both inside and outside of work. It also means creating spaces to share, connect, and feel that we are part of a common project.

That’s why we have been building an ecosystem of benefits for our professionals that covers very different areas: well-being and health, training, sports, leisure, dining, experiences, or services that facilitate work-life balance. We also have a team that actively works to incorporate new proposals that can add value to your daily life.

And we also believe in small gestures. Our Healthy Wednesdays, where we share fruit with the team every Wednesday, are a good example. It may seem simple, but culture is also built this way: paying attention to those everyday details.

It is not, therefore, about accumulating profits. It’s about creating an environment where people feel valued, can develop, and are eager to be part of what we are building together.

Because behind every achievement of Tambre, there are many people. Doctors, embryologists, nursing staff, patient coordinators, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, technology, cleaning… Each of them contributes, from their respective responsibilities, to the experience our patients receive.

I have always believed that the best results are never the success of a single person. They are the result of many people who collaborate, support each other, and share a common purpose. And no matter what their role is: every detail matters and every interaction counts.

That’s why, when I think of a top-tier organization, I don’t just think of results, technology, or facilities. A top-tier organization is built by top-tier people. People with empathy, curiosity, a desire to keep learning, responsibility, and the ability to work as a true team.

Our job as leaders is also to create the conditions for those people to give their best.

Because culture is not written on a wall nor explained in a presentation.

Culture is built together. Every day.
