On July 6, 2026, I had the privilege of attending the Fertility Care Awards gala, organised by the European Fertility Society as part of the annual ESHRE congress. It was a very special night for the entire Tambre team.
We received the recognition for Best International Patient Care & Support, and our colleague, Dr. Laura García, was honoured as Best Fertility Doctor.
I could talk about the excitement of receiving these awards or what they represent for an organization like ours. But, when the gala ended, there was one idea that kept spinning in my head: awards come and go, what remains is the way we do things.
That an international scientific society recognises Tambre’s work is a source of pride, but what truly moves me is the reason for our recognition. It is not an award for a specific technology or a particular procedure. It is a recognition of the way we accompany the people who trust us in one of the most important moments of their lives.
In reproductive medicine, science is essential. Research too. Without them, we would not be able to offer increasingly precise, safe, and effective treatments. But I have always believed that clinical excellence only reaches its true meaning when accompanied by deeply human care.
Perhaps that’s why this recognition has a special meaning.
It’s not the first time Tambre has received an award related to the patient experience. In recent years, we have been recognised on various occasions for the quality of the care and support we provide. Far from making us think we have reached a goal, these recognitions remind us that we are on the right path and encourage us to keep improving.
None of this would be possible without the people who make up Tambre.
Doctors, embryologists, nurses, psychologists… and so many professionals who, from different fields, work every day with a single goal: for each patient to feel heard, supported, and cared for with the utmost scientific rigour and the greatest human closeness.
I also want to especially congratulate Dr. Laura García, our medical director, for an award that recognises her professional excellence, her commitment to reproductive medicine, and the way she understands patient care. It is a source of pride to have professionals like her.
Each new recognition reminds us that the trust of our patients is earned every day. With research. With innovation. With scientific evidence. But, above all, with people.
Because, in the end, the best medicine is not only measured by the results it achieves but also by the way it accompanies those who place their trust in it.
